Joe owns and manages Coach Bails Running, LLC. He is a certified running coach through Road Runners Club of America and USA Track and Field. He lives, trains, and coaches in Mahomet, IL and the surrounding areas. He loves to run and runs to live a full and healthy life. He coaches first timers through advanced runners in distances ranging from 1 mile up to the marathon (and sometimes beyond the marathon). Joe helps individual athletes, as well as small groups, set and achieve their running and fitness goals by offering quality coaching at an affordable price. Services include form analysis, face-to-face running coaching, online training programs, small group training, or large group training such as the Winter Speed & Agility and Summer Speed programs. Whether you are training to finish your first race or to set a personal record, he will help you achieve your goals in running.
Joe keeps a busy schedule. In addition to owning and managing Coach Bails Running, LLC, Joe is a Kinesiology instructor at Parkland College in Champaign and a F-T manager/buyer at Body n' Sole Sports in Savoy. He is the head coach for cross country (and volunteer assistant for track & field) at Next Generation School in Champaign since 2019. He previously coached track & field for 14 years and cross country for 6 years at Mahomet-Seymour Junior High (MSJH). Joe was the inaugural race director of the Illinois Marathon in Champaign-Urbana in 2009, was the race director of the MAYC races for 10 years, and organized a 5K race in 2013 and 2014 to raise money to support the MSJH cross country and track teams.
